Chanin Engineering provided complete structural design services for a 4-story hotel with a porte-cochere. Structure measured approximately 67,000 SF and consisted of a mixture of conventional steel and pre-engineered wood trusses along with an exterior wood façade wall. The porte-cochere was designed as a tapered wide-flanged column and steel beams.
